(Rom 14:17 NLT) For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

(Rom 15:14 NLT) I am fully convinced, dear friends, that you are full of goodness. You know these things so well that you are able to teach others all about them.

(2 Cor 6:14 NLT) Don't team up with those who are unbelievers. How can goodness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?

(James 3:13 NLT) If you are wise and understand God's ways, live a life of steady goodness so that only good deeds will pour forth. And if you don't brag about the good you do, then you will be truly wise!

(Titus 1:7-8 NRSV) For a bishop, as God's steward, must be blameless; he must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or addicted to wine or violent or greedy for gain; 8 but he must be hospitable, a lover of goodness, prudent, upright, devout, and self-controlled.

(2 Pet 1:5-7 NRSV) For this very reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, 7 and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love.

(Eph 5:8-10 NNAS) for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light 9 (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), 10 trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord.

(2 Th 1:11-12 NNAS) To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Phile 1:14 NNAS) but without your consent I did not want to do anything, so that your goodness would not be, in effect, by compulsion but of your own free will.
